Marina Yax Dolls

About this artist:  "Hi, My name is Marina. I live in small town in West Virginia, called Gerrardstown. I’m happily married and have a daughter and son-in-law. A few years ago I found very interested world called Doll making. And from then on it became my passion. Each of my dolls are one of a kind with hand painting face and hands. I do not use any mold and I do not make molds from my dolls. All my costumes are created by me and they are all hand sewn, I use finest material and a lot of decorations:  lace, beads and ribbons. So, you can see my doll's costumes are also one of a kind. My favorite material is Paperclay or LaDoll. I am proud member of Professional Doll Makers Art Guild of America, and Canadian Dolls Artist Association. Locally I belong to Shenandoah Art Council, Winchester, VA and Berkeley Art Council, Martinsburg, WV. All my dolls are registered with International Art Doll Registry.  You can find more information about my dolls and me here: http://www.marinayaxdolls.com/."
