Lemon Square Designs

I recently came across this new shoppe and found it to have a number of charming, eye-catching typography designs.  The artist has put together a significant amount of creativity into a very small space and added some very nice color palettes to boot.  The collection includes party invitations, wedding invites, save the dates, and a number of other events, on paper.  Some cute, some elegant, but all have a great eye for detail.  You can visit this artists shoppe to see more by clicking on the post title above.

From the Artist:  "My name is Andrea Cook and I'm originally from England. I began making things as soon as I was able to, beginning with origami when I was 4 years old from a Japanese neighbour. I later studied architecture at the University of Sheffield in the UK and enjoyed the marriage of the technical and artistic aspects. Since 2003 I’ve been working as a professional artist in the Netherlands where I run a gallery and art centre with my partner, a fellow etsy artist.  Besides making etching and painting, I am fascinated by paper and the process of making it. Mulberry and Moss

Artists Statement:  "Hi, I’m Monica Gussow and I founded Mulberry and Moss in 2010 when I took a break from my full-time gig as a magazine designer to have a go at the world of stationery. Today we offer a full range of down-to-earth greeting cards, wedding suites, and hand-lettering services (among other things)!   Inspired by the way that weathered, old antiques gain an eclectic feel when mixed with lighter and more modern elements, I’ve incorporated quirky type, crooked lines, and roughed-up textures into all of my designs. These elements lend a laid-back personality to our stationery, and it’s this comfortable, worn-in quality that makes Mulberry and Moss unique."
