Statement from the Artist:  "I have been a fabric artist most of my adult life - my original designs have been available exclusively online since 2006. I work on my designs full time in my Richmond, VA, studio.  The fine "hand" of the silk is unaffected by wax or resists because I apply dye directly to the scarves, diluted or thickened with seaweed thickener.
