H Winfield

From the artist:  "I am a contemporary abstract painter, and I create by blending and layering color using different techniques and painting methods.  I notice the magic of color everywhere, often in unanticipated places - from the surface of a body of water to the rustic, industrial warehouse floor of a manufacturing facility. I am greatly inspired by nature and by light. Light has such a profound visual effect on everything, and I try to infuse it into every painting, and to consider how different types of lighting will affect the painting.  Each painting is original, authentic and personally signed. After creation, I apply a clear acrylic, UV resistant, gloss varnish to protect the quality of the painting, add a touch of shine, and to safeguard your investment."  To see more work by this artist, click on the post title above to be taken to her shop.

Lynn Todd Designs

About the Artist:  Lynn Todd Designs was born out of a desire to find something fulfilling outside of an office environment. After having worked in every industry from retail to restaurants, the music business to television production, business administration to bookkeeping, I am now concentrating on this creative outlet of jewelry design. I love experimenting with new materials, and every day I learn new techniques to create the things swimming around in my head. I hail from the Midwest, but currently reside in the metro Atlanta area. I also find enjoyment in time with my son, practicing yoga, and experiencing live music.

Metal Couture Jewelry

From the Artists Studio:  "The son of an artist and an inventor, William Llewellyn Griffiths is a self taught manipulator of precious metals. He began his career in the jewelry workshops of London’s Hatton Garden over 30 years ago, and his works have since been sold and exhibited throughout Europe, Japan, the United States, Australia and New Zealand. Specialiaing in creating one off commissions for films and high profile clients, his distinct signature has also led to collaborations with designers Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood, Dolce & Gabbana and renowned shoemaker Terri de Havilland. His designs are a potent cocktail of stones, metals and gems hand-worked into intricate pieces that have an allure of danger, romance and unholy reverence.  More on our website - http://www.metalcouture.com/.  Behind the scenes at our blog here: http://metalcouturejewelry.blogspot.com/.  Newest on Facebook:

Francesca Lynn

Artist Statement:  "Francesca combines precious metals, wire and gemstones into artisan jewelry that makes a statement. Her signature style is bold, expressive and filled with textures."
Many of her pieces have a tribal, ethnic flavor yet still manage to capture the beauty of the metals and components used in the piece.  Definite style niche with an attractive design quality.  You can see more of this artists work by clicking on the post title above, which will take you directly to her shop.

Joe Papendick

For only the coolest birds... I find these to be fabulously interesting and so mesmerizing to gaze upon.  And just imagine how the birds might feel eating from one of these!  These amazing birdfeeders are beyond your average work of art.  Gorgeous patina, copper, metal, wire - a veritable potpourri of materials woven together so intricately and yet so beautifully abstract.  You must visit this artists site and see the many, many styles, colors and designs that he has created.  http://www.joepapendick.com/.  Also his blog chronicles the current works in progress:  http://www.joepapendick.blogspot.com/.
