About the Artist - Lyn Swan:  "I have been working in clay for as long as i can remember and am still very much addicted! I received a BFA in ceramics from RIT, School for the American Craftsman in New York. My home and studio are now in Sonoma California where I continue my never ending exploration of clay. I am currently working with a mid range porcelain, colorful glazes, sulfates, and gold luster. For the most part, my current work is hand built, as I am fascinated by the character and personality of each individual piece, so whimsical, so entertaining! From the Artist:  "I'm a Ceramic Artist specialising in Porcelain and Stoneware Sculptures, Water Etched Porcelain, Wall Art and Buttons. Variety is the spice of life.  I work from my studio (aka, the shed at the end of garden) in Cheshire, England.  I make things that appeal to me, the kind of things I'd like to keep.  It's a luxury I can't really afford, but it's what keeps me inspired. Some mornings I wake up wanting to manhandle a sculpture, or I may spend months obsessing over a couple of buttons."
