From the Artist: "As an eight-year old, I would swipe bits of fabric and thread from my Mom's stash to create doll clothes, new hair bows and to hang as decoration from my ceiling in my room. Now, I love experimenting with color, new techniques and materials. I teach hand quilting and piecing at St Louis Community College and love seeing my students catch the crafting bug."

Lai Grai
From the Studio: "Lai Grai & Friends is channeling the perfect imagined countryside. the place you always wished you grew up, with accessible wonderful markets, teeming with fresh foods and inspirational smells and sights. it is the just-right, layered bohemian in us all- the precisely pieced outfit, that looks just so effortless- unique with each addition of color and accessory. the parisian adorations, of rough hewn wood and elegant farmhouse decor- the perfect porcelain matched with blooms of ranunculus in an aged patina vase- next to your grandmother's delicately hand embroidered linens. sipping tea while sitting on oversized ikat pillows, under your favorite glowing moroccan brass and copper lanterns, enjoying the eastern colors. it is being able to mix and match all of these inspirations without worry- letting each aspect flow into the other."

Lizzie Bean
Statement from the Artist: "I'm in Shropshire, England, enjoying making lovely things from natural materials & collected scraps. I'm really into texture, fabric, pattern, paper, wood and wool, above all in natural colours and with natural earthy textures. I'm an aspiring fibre artist, greenwood worker - turning bowls, making stools and rustic chairs etc.. I paint watercolour landscapes whilst out on walks...I sew, spin, knit and weave...and oh and I make old fashioned-looking paper decorations."
