About this artist: "I am by trade & training an aircraft mechanic, although my training really started at a very young age. My Dad was a master welder & metallurgist & my maternal grandfather was a third generation carpenter. So I've been building things since I was a kid with a hacksaw & file. I enjoy making western & wildlife artwork out of heavy gauge steel. I use a handheld plasma torch as well as a plasma cam system. I like to use the handheld torch for custom work, such as home & ranch signs because of the flexibility."

The Sphere of OZ - Olda Zinke
A timeless design realized in materials impervious to the ravages of time and weather. The stainless steel base is welded, thoroughly detailed and finished into a seamless monolithic sculpture. The 42" diameter glass top stands 14-1/2" from the ground. Steel and glass table - the table base is made of cold drawn steel that is welded into a seamless monolithic sculpture thoroughly detailed and finished. The steel is left in its natural state of light gray metallic color and waxed.
Gorgeous, strong, bold and sexy molded steel furniture for your home - naturally makes me think of that perfect mid-century modern piece that you've been searching for forever. This artist appears to be a man of few words, but long on design aesthetic. Click on the post title above to visit the artists shop.
