Deaf Cat Studios

About the Studio:  "Hi, I'm Tom. I'm 24 years old and interested in all kinds of art and design. I'm especially biased towards architecture and aesthetic movements. I spend my time making jewelry, building houses, studying to be a goldsmith, and practicing my draftsmanship.  Lisa has been a jeweler for 26 years. She specializes in silver work and bezel setting. Jewelry is a full time pursuit for her - some of her work is here at Deaf Cat Studios, and she sells sea themed jewelry as SeaGlassJewels as well as at galleries around the country.  This store is a collaboration between the two of us. We work on design and production together to make pieces that are contemporary and stylish."

E. Smith Designs

About the Artist:  "I have worked in a very structured field for most of my professional life and needed to be able to release my inner self. (You can only adapt a canned accounting program so far and still meet GAPS rules.) Then the ecomony fell and it became apparent that I need a new job, so I set out on my own to find happiness in art. This is the result.  I have made jewelry since my one fun class in high school. Over the years, I have been more and more interested in colors, textures, and sparkles.  I am using both precious gemstones and semiprecious gemstones. Silver, gold, gold filled, or (due to the economy) silver plate, silver filled, copper, or brass or who knows what else I may find.  I also believe that everyone should do what they love and have more than one career."    To visit this artists shop click on the post title above.

Tia Bee Jewelry

Statement from the Artist:  "The aim of Tia Bee is to be light-hearted and affordable. "Tia" stands for the last three letters of Byzantia. "Bee" represents the first letter of the company.  Plus, I love bees! A hive often forms each spring in one of the hollow sculptures in my garden giving us honey for our table and wax for family candle making projects."   You can visit the artists shop by clicking on the post title above to see more lovely creations.

Silver Garden

Well, it definitely seems like I have come across a vast number of really beautiful jewelry lately.  Specifically, silver and more specifically, rings.  These really caught my eye because of the intricate detail and workmanship in their design.  I will work on reducing the amount of silver rings, but I suggest you go to this shop and look at the other inspiring works of art.  You can get there by clicking on the post title above.
