Lins Artwork

About the Artist:  "I am originally from Manchester England. My family emigrated to America in the 70's when I was a teenager. It was hard to adjust to American life at first but it all worked out pretty good in the end. I have a wonderful husband, (married 30 years now and he still makes me laugh) 2 great kids and the best granddaughter in the world. Life is about family and what you can give to them. I always try to give them the sun for smiles of fun, good times and the moon to keep them calm and centered. They keep me alive and painting!! They are big lovers (and critics) of my work. My husband won't let me throw any of my art away., even if I hate it!!!
I have been an artist all my life. I think I was born into it. I cant be away from it long or I start jonesing for a paintbrush!!! I have a Bachelors Degree in Fine Art and I have been creating and selling my art for over 30 years, from portrait paintings, murals, to notecards and T-shirt designs, architectural drawings, trompe l'oiel. (and everything in between it seems.) I have been in several juried art shows, of which I have won awards, have had 3 one-person shows and I have had the good fortune to have been represented by 7 galleries from New England to Florida.
I sell my original paintings as well create murals now (see my full artsite at:  http://www.linsartwork.com/) and I have created a line of notecards and prints from my original pen and ink drawings and my acrylic paintings that I really love. Many of my friends have been collecting my christmas cards for over 25 years. I will have them all for sale soon as i am just starting out on Esty and having fun.  I hope you enjoy my art as much as I did creating it."
